It's here... the SNOW

We have been getting hit pretty hard by the snow and daddy who is out in his snow plow with UDOT, will not be home for awhile, but I got a really good helper.

The only thing I asked is do not poop after I put on the snow pants.... it did not work. It took ten minutes to get the pants off and poop out and then we were off to the outside winter wonderland

Nothing Runs Like a Deere

JOHN DEERE ROCKS

So we have finally finished our kitchen remodel just in time for Christmas, but while we were working I turned around to see this. My little guy had got his wood loaded on the back of his john deere (of course) ATV and was heading for his room down the hall. He amazes me everyday with what he does.

Ready to Go..Out on the Town

Cort is all dressed up and ready to go and see his Grammie, she was up here in SLC on sunday and monday for great grandma's surgery. We got all cleaned up and went and had lunch with them both. We are glad great grandma's surgery went so well. And we look forward to seeing grammie soon. Grandpa just left after having a sleep over with Cort last night. Really Grandpa got a sleep over with the pugs squeakers and maddie.

Grandpa and daddy juan took Cort to Carls jr last night for dinner cause mom had young womens. They did really well. It was just boys night out on the town.

so cort and I had to work on some things outside today, which turned out to be three hours of hard labor for me cause I had an extra 25 pounds of Cort in the wheelbarrow. He loved riding in it and loved helping me take out the old tomato plants and raking the leaves. We now have clean yard and we were really really tired after all our work. Hope you love the photos of us outside.

this little guy is breaking hearts already. He will melt any one's heart any day. Just ask his mom!!!

okay we know that we are just a little behind on updating our blog, life has been busy at our house. Halloween photos are coming... but we did take part of the voting world on November 4th and went to the polls. Cort went with Juan and got his sticker when they were finished. He then had a cracker and a big smile.

here is our new pantry door in the kitchen, it is getting sealed this week and the new floor should be in by this weekend and we can move on with our lives that far at least. I think it looks fabulous, juan did a really good job just following my design for him. maybe we see a new job for juan in his spare time away from UDOT!!

worth a thousand words

this one is a good one, Cort is riding one of my mom's decorative bicycles from her house. It might be just a little small for such a big little guy. We got a good laugh out of seeing him ride this bike. Maybe for Christmas he can get a little bit bigger one.

deer hunt 2008

So here is a photo from the deer hunt this year. This first one is while I waited for the others to come down the hill so I could pick them all up.
The highlight of it all was spending time with dad, ash and juan. Grandma bless her heart spent all day with Cort. Thanks Grandma, we love you!!!
We had some great camp names for everyone and I got some pee on my shoe, that pretty much says it all. Juan said I could not publish a picture of his deer cause people who be jealous at how large it was.... some of you really know why!!

YUMMY OREOS

We got a package in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa, which had some great goodies, a new outfit which is super cute and we also got some OREOS!!!!!
As you can see we loved them. Cort has learned well break in half, eat side with cream and give the other half to mom!!!

New Kitchen Pantry

Still working on the repair from our issues in August 2008, so here is the outside of the pantry. The door is almost done. Grandpie has been helping us and the boys made a run to the store about 30 minutes ago. The store is only 2 minutes away and still no sign of them. Missing some plumbing parts for the new bathroom downstairs.

I have so say I think it looks awesome so far, we have new tile going in also. It is going to look great. NO worries Ash the toliet should be in soon.... but I still may need a run to get me some water in rubbermaids if we go much longer with no water!!!!!!

Elton John Has Nothing on Me

While I was working on the repairs in the kitchen, I noticed that Cort had learned to put his own sunglasses on and he had climbed up on the grout bucket. I snapped this photo and laughed cause he looks a little like Elton John!!!!! He has style now.

First Snow in West Valley City

I thought I would just include this little photo of the first snow at our house this past saturday morning. Juan was pretty happy about this one, but he did not get to drive Lola (the snow plow) just yet. We need just a little more than this.

How Do I Look????

Cort is now 15 months old and has found mom's shoes to be a great accessory to his outfits. I just asked him to smile and here is our photo for the day. He loves to show his now 11 teeth just like a big kid

It's Halloween Time

Last year our little guy was a penguin for Halloween courtesy of his grandmie, so this year I hit a sale and got him the cutest little pumpkin costume. Well from the photo you can see how happy he is about his outfit. The look says it all, but just so you all know he is being a pumpkin as long as he can drag the pumpkin behind him.
