ChEcK OuT ThIS FaCe

I have to show this face off to everyone in this blog. I have a hard time imaging that one year ago this week, Juan and I went in to see how this little love bug was growing when we got there, Juan waited in the car with Cort cause he was still pretty small. I went in to see my doctor, super great Dr. Hansen, and he did a sonogram and to my surprise all that was there was an empty sac no baby. I remember leaving the office with my card to come back in two weeks and he would check again. I remember being sad, overwhelmed and also a little surprised. I guess I thought because everything went so well with Cort this one would be the same way. Two weeks passed and we went back to see if anything was there, and there was a little peanut (aka Camille).
Here she is today:
just over four months old, weighs in at 13.5 lbs and is 24 inches long
Still a little hard to image one year ago we wondered if we would get her here. Just one of those many miracles

Flash Back to 2007 and Now 2010

Cort Eugene 4 months old 2007

Camille Ashleigh 4 months old 2010

I know this is strange, but check out these two cuties. They look so much alike to me and yes this is the same shirt. The first Harley shirt for the Galindo kids. This one came from Illinois and I find it funny they both will wear it. And yes just so you all know Ashley and I did have the same little Harley shirt too. So here to the shield.......................................

Where is La Verkin, Utah???

Okay it is still hard for me to image that Juan and I are not in west valley anymore, change is always hard and a few days ago on a friends blog, she told everyone she was moving to Texas. I had thoughts about just a few months ago when Juan and I left what we had know as home for seven years and moved our small family to the little town of La Verkin. It was a hard decision and there were many times I thought are we doing the right thing are we making the best decision for our family???
We knew our had loving family behind us and they supported us no matter what, so we made the move, now remember I was nine months pregnant with Camille and still had not had her when Juan said yes to this new job
We had six weeks to sell our house, have a baby, move our stuff to storage and still get on with life. We did it and are getting settled in down here. And we know we had the best choice for our family. We look forward to our new life and new adventures here in La Verkin
So where is La Verkin, it is just about three miles outside of Hurricane, Utah and about 20 miles north of St. George, and best of all we are 20 minutes from Zion national park, in other words a small town..... but if any of our friends or family are coming this way we would love to see you so stop by.

Cort and his two favorite things, baby and elmo

LO-LO's christmas tree, she did really good this year with it, and I avoided her house so I would not have to help take it down, she took it down herself, so now I can go and see her

A trip to Zions National Park..... I am sure there are many more to come

Camille is getting bigger and changing everyday

camille at 3 months old, she is getting really big

and camille at 4 months old

well as you know we moved back in october to southern utah, for Juan to take a new job with the department of the interior, zion national park, we finally closed on our house on december 11, 2009 and got to move in with a few items right before christmas, then we rented a uhaul over the new years long weekend and got everything down here. That was not before the boys, dad and juan spending two days painting as much as the house as they could. My mom came down and cleaned the bathroom and painted it. Ash got to unpack boxes, yea for her, I think that is why is not coming to see me know is because she knows there is still 900 boxes out in the garage.
As you can see Santa found us even though we never got our own tree up, but nana and papa made sure to get their house all decorated for Cort inside and out, I have to say I still believe they should have won the lighting contest in emery. But you know Cort loved them anyway.
We did get our little girl Camille blessed on December 26th it was really nice to have my dad take care of it and he did a really good job.
Now we are here in Laverkin getting settled into our house and waiting to see what 2010 brings to us. We hope you all had happy holidays and time with family, and we wish you all a wonderful new year. And to all our family who was unable to be with us, we hope you all had a wonderful christmas and new year.
