And So Life Goes....

this is the so sad... he is waiting for papa to call him, we go though this everynight

Sleeping beauty.... oh the moments that I love....

Here are my two cute kids, cort wears his winter hat everywhere

this is one of my favorite outfits cause I love the shirt (thanks dixie)

And as you can see she smiles now........

Life sometimes takes you by surprise and you wonder how you ever got to where you are and if you are going to make it to where you should be. That is where we are right now in life.
An update on our house, we were to close on the 24th of november and guess what... that did not happen. We did enjoy a lovely thanksgiving dinner at my sister's house here in hurricane. We ate alot, but missed out on some of the good parts like the pumpkin pie, don't ask I am not sure where we went wrong with that one.

Ashley and I enjoyed a wonderful night out on thanksgiving night, we took in the movie NEW MOON, and yes we sported shirts that said I love edward cullen (ash) and team Jacob (ches). We then thought for a split second we should try the outlet stores at Zion Outlets down here. We scored some awesome stuff at the shade store, I did have to use my old lady hips on some young punks who thought they could cut in line. We also hit the gymboree outlet for some kids clothing and that was it after one hour and 45 minutes to just pay and get on, we got in the car at 2:30 am and came home, Just a side not our movie got out about 9:30 pm give or take a few minutes. I know just plain crazy.

Now back to the house, we then had a date of December 1 to close on the house... and guess what still no house. So Kimala thanks for the offer but the tree may still be in storage by the time we close on the house, but we did put one up at Ash's house (photos to follow soon) We now have a date of December 10, which is fast approaching so we are sure hoping it happens this time.

So enjoy our new photos, our kids are growing everyday and changing so much with each day, Cort has learned to spell his name, I am for sure he will go to preschool and yell RT when spelling his name. And as you can see from the photos Camille has learned to smile and she oohh's at people now also. Hard to believe she is almost three months old, times flies. There are days I wish I could freeze time to enjoy them just a little longer.

Melt My Heart

these are the faces of the worlds two cutest kids and yes I must say I am proud they are mine and also I am just be a little partial because they belong to me. I also have to say that it really is the eyes on these two, they are both big brown eyed cuties.
These are some new photos of them, cort is now two and a half and a little bit of a handful, but I would not trade him for the world. camille is two months old now and cute as can be, she loves to smile at people now and is doing really well, Juan and I fell really blessed to have such great kids.
Our family is still living with Ash at her house in hurricane, we hope to be able to close on our house in laverkin by December 1, 2009. that means we might just have a Christmas tree up at our new house. we will have to wait and see.

***Happy Halloween***

This is the face of the cutest little elmo

This is the "why is there no money in my halloween card from nana"face!!!

Look at these two cute kids...

Cort, Juan, and Camille on Halloween

We had a great halloween, we (juan, ash and I) took Cort and Camille to the trunk or treat here in hurricane, Camille slept through it all and Cort just wanted to run crazy. I never did get a picture of them both in their costumes. Cort was the cutest little Elmo (thanks to his dad) and Camille was a super darling little gariffe (thanks to grandma carol). I did get them in their halloween shirts and they look really cute together. So Happy Halloween a little late.....

GOODBYE.....

Our big annoucement is that we have moved. Juan and I have moved down to southern utah and are in the process of buying a new home down here. We said goodbye to our first house in West Valley City and Juan said goodbye to Utah Department of Transportation after 10 years of working there. Kinda funny his last day was his first day 10 years ago.

Juan accepted a job with the feds, he is working for Zions National Park as a heavy equipment engineer. We have known for awhile that he wanted to do something different and this just worked out for us. He really likes his job and the fact he gets to be in the National Park everyday is not to bad either.

We are currently living with my sister in Hurricane till we close on our house which should be right before thanksgiving, but we are really exicted about the move and being closer to family. We know that everything happens for a reason and Juan was meant to take this job there have been many blessing that have come to our family in the past few months that we are very grateful for.

So here's to our old house in west valley (pictured here), we sure loved that house and will miss it, but we are looking forward to the new things coming our way for our family.

PS I am looking forward to having a real laundry room in my new house!!!! And my own master bathroom

Camille Reaches One Month Old

We have reached the one month mark, still hard to believe it has been that long since I had her. This is how cute she is getting these days, she has the big eyes like my Cort has and yes they are just as brown also... we do still have the crazy hair, but it get a little better each day.

Best Big Brother

Cort is really getting used to having Camille around now, as you can see from this photo he wants to help feed her and he will hold her for about 3 seconds then he is done with that and on to something new. He also loves to give her kisses, I have to say he is turning into the best big brother ever. We sure love you little man!!!

Coming Home From Lo-Lo's House

Last weekend we made a trip to see my sister Lo-Lo (Ashley), I will have to give you the news about why at a later post. It is just not time for us to tell everyone just yet. We had a great time, my mom had taken Cort with her so he could have a sleep over with Grandpa, and she came down on Saturday morning. We had a lot of fun and many laughs while we were there. It was sure nice down there. Juan loves it down there and it gives us sometime to de-stress will there.

This photo is of Cort and I driving home, yes I am back to sitting in the back now with a carseat on each side. Good thing my hips are not that big cause I would not be getting out of that seat if they were. And also a photo of Cort really up close, we were a little bored okay.

Here's to You CORT EUGENE

This is one of my favorite hospital pictures that there ever was, Cort had a little blow out about the time I was having the new baby girl, and there was no spare clothes for him to wear, so he came back into the hospital like this. Wearing his hat, shoes, and pull-ups. Funny story about this hospital room, I was in this room when I thought it was time to have Cort, after two hours they sent me home. I came back early that morning and was admitted to the hospital to have Cort. So here's to you my little man, you give mom the best laughs and I love you for it.

An Update

Just wanted to give an update on how things have been for the last two weeks at our house. a little crazy to say the least. WE are all gettting adjusted to the new baby, Cort is doing better with having her around. He wants to help with her and hold her. Things were a little uncertain there for a few days. We are all doing better now.
Here are a few new photos of Camille, who is still very small, but very cute and we sure do love her here at our house.

She's Here

Our Little Girl has arrived.....

Camille Ashleigh Galindo
7 lbs 2 oz 19 inches

It took some time to get her here we wondered if she would ever come into this world, really that was just me cause I was getting so big and so uncomfortable those last few weeks. We thought she would come at the end of August then we made it to the first of September, celebrated my 29th birthday, no photos sorry. But I will tell you Juan, Cort and I had ice cream from baskin robbins, which was really good. It was a good birthday. Then we thought maybe Labor Day weekend, but no it came and went. Had a doctor's appt on 9-9-09 and thought that was her day, but nope she waited one more day before joining our family.
Juan and I feel very blessed to have such a cute little boy and now our little girl is here. WE are all doing very well and we thank everyone who has called us or stopped by to see how everyone is doing. We are very grateful and feel very blessed.

We will keep you updated on what is happening, in the next few days, but for now enjoy these pictures and we will post some more hospital ones of everyone in the next few days.

At Two He Can Do This!!!

while out painting the garage, Cort was just dying to help us paint as you can see he also helped a little with the mud and tape, notice the marks he is painting. We had to spend some time fixing it when he was not around, but he is a really good painter must get it from pa-pa who can paint a whole room with one drop on the floor or on himself (notice the hands there was a little on him)

I am not going to lie I would like to destory the elmo dvd on most days, but I try to just find something else to do, so I do not have to watch it again and again.

Father's Day

Autumn and Aunt Connie

Great Grandpa Caldwell

unhappy Cort about sharing his toys

Uncle Larry and Aunt Connie

Autumn

Well we went to Emery to spend Fathers Day with my dad and Juan. We love it down there cause it is quiet and my mom's dryer went out and she needed a new one put in. Since my dad had surgery just three weeks ago, he still can not lift over a certain weight, so Juan and I went down to help get it in for my mom. She was without a dryer for two weeks.
So anyway got that taken care of and had a great lunch with my dad, mom, ash, grandpa caldwell, aunt connie, uncle larry and autumn. So enjoy our photos from our time in emery.

Cutest Little BOY!!!

Our little guy is growing up before our eyes, he turns two in a couple of weeks. It is hard to believe he is already that big, how time flies. I am glad to get to stay home with him so I do not miss anything with him.
He sure is getting big and we love every minute of him being in our lives.

Utah Girls State 2009

We have completed another successful year at Utah Girls State 2009, we shared some memories, some laughs and some tears, but I have to say it was one year to remember and for sure will give us laughs for years to come. There are a few new members to the pee a little club, a 26 hour trip from cedar city to salt lake and back to cedar city for my mom, because my dad had emergency surgery to remove his appendix mid week, some sicks girls keeping the nurse busy and A little you like this dance thanks to jennie and as always a few tears as the week comes to an end, Mama AJ I saw you through the crowd when they sang to my mom.
So here's to everyone on staff thanks so much for the laughs, tears and memories.
THANKS TO SOUTHERN UTAH UNIVERSITYand ALL THE STAFF WHO HELPED US THERE AND CEDAR CITY, UTAH, we love coming there each June.

Some of the Coolest Stuff HERE....

Just a little side note about the following info on this..
I am adding this info to my blog for two reasons I want to win one of these great bags and also because I have know Michelle, (who owns this business) since I was in high school. I was good friends with her daughter Melissa. She has some of the neatest things available to buy (I love the aprons), but the best part is she does classes and will let you use her equipment. She makes the cutest rag blankets, my mom has bought some and made one for my son Cort just this past Jan and he loves it. So go to this website and check it out. Let me know if you love the aprons too, my mom got one for my grandma for mother's day and I really want to steal it. They are so cute!!!!

And also I want to say hi to the anderson family... been awhile since I was you......I really want to come to the class to learn to make the bags, but will be in Cedar City for Utah Girls State 2009. Can I get a pattern anyway, let me know if are you going to hold another class to make them????

Born to Ride

This one is a great one, the coat he is wearing was
given to him by my Uncle Larry and Aunt Connie and his
great do-rag my dad found in Decatur, Ill.

He will for sure break hearts someday!!!

as you can see we had new photos taken of the
cutest little biker around, here are just a few of them.

A new family photo of all three of us,
Juan and I were not going to be in the photo,
but we agreed to just one family shot since
we were there and there was not sitting fee
charged for us!!!

This one is mom's favorite, he has a temporary tattoo that reads mom,
I tell you that better be the only name ever on his arm.
Look at that face, he makes a mom proud!!!
PS mom this photo was just for you!!!

A LITTLE UPDATE ON US:
Well things here at our house are about the same, we put our garden in, so we could have tomatoes this year again and peppers. I also got pumpkin plants again, so Cort and I would have Halloween pumpkins. We planted five trees, a couple apple trees and a couple maple trees. Had to put in a new hot water heater and of course, my dad came to help us get it in so Juan would not have to do it all alone.
Juan and I will be having our seven year anniversary on Monday the 18th, so for our gift we bought and screen door for the back of our house. I know sounds kinda lame, but we really have wanted one for four years now and finally decided it was time to get one in.
Other than that we are just fine here, just getting ready for summer. I have Utah Girls State, Youth Conference and Girls Camp coming up in the next two months so it will be pretty busy. And my Little guy turns two in July, so we are going to be busy, but we are so happy.
