Dad's Custom Wrapping Paper

Okay so for Christmas 2008, I thought this photo needed to be added to our blog for vairous reasons. It is sure a piece of something great. The story goes like this, my mom told my dad she would buy her own christmas gift, but she was not going to wrap it. On Christmas eve while getting ready to come to my house for christmas my sister asked my dad if he was going to wrap my mom's present he said sure and asked where the tissue paper was, I am unsure of what happened next, but this is what really came to be as wrapping paper (above photo). My dad took some paper taped it together and made his own christmas paper . This is a family portait of all of us including the cat in the tree and rojo the red healer at the very end, five pugs, a grandpa, a grandma, Ashers, Ches, Juan and Cort. Not only did he do one, but two master pieces ( photos included). Here's to you dad in all your glory, I had to add this on the blog and give you props for this one!!!!

85 Dodge

Okay so this little boy is in love with this Dodge, and yes I am talking about Juan. These are the best photos of Cort and Juan after they got the dodge back up and running this afternoon. They took it for a little spin back and forth in the driveway to mash the snow down. What happy boys these are. So sorry about the above photo taken through the passenger side window, but look at those faces. It's just priceless. My little guy is just a ham for the camera.

Autumn came to see us in her new dress, my mom and sister

bought them mathcing outfits.

Zoo Lights

New Years Eve

Juan, Cort and I went to see the zoo lights at hogle zoo.

We had alot of fun, but it was so cold.....

This is the coolest thing, it does colors, shapes, animals and

music and so much more. Cort loves to play it and dance to the

music when it comes on. This is what Ashley and I did the day after

Christmas while my mom and dad took in a jazz game. WE now know

all the words to Farmer and the Dell. Hard to image

this time last year he had just started sitting up on his own.

First Bicycle, it Rocks

For Cort's First Birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Galindo who are in Yuma Arizona sent us a gift card to go and get something for cort. Juan really liked this bike cause it was a three in one set up. He was just a little small for us to use it as a bike, but now that he walks, well runs. He loves to ride it in the newly cleaned garage. Mom said no more in the house cause Cort forgets there are walls and pugs. He can reach the pedals but has not figured out how to do it quite pedal by himself. Mom still walks behind him pushing from the handle, but he thinks he pedals none the less. We are looking forward to this spring when we get to go outside and go up and down the sidewalk in front of our house. Thanks Galindo Grandparents we send our love to you in Yuma Arizona
