Like so many people, I too have neglected my blog. I have not posted for two months maybe a little longer, who really knows?? We are doing just fine here in southern Utah, the weather has been nice. Okay some days are better than others, there is sun and then there is rain...
Cort will be four in just a little over a month which is hard to believe. He is getting big and will be in school in just one short year.
Juan was hurt at work and we have spent the last five weeks trying to see what they were going to do about that. The good news is after four weeks they gave him a shot and he is getting movement back in his shoulder. The MRI showed he did not surgery at least not at this time and we are in hopes his arm should heal over time.
Camille is all full of spunk, we are unsure of what she will do next. She is learning words faster than we know what to do with. And she loves to dance. Let me just say her hips don't lie. She can move in ways I know will someday make me wonder why I said keep on shaking that bum.
I am getting ready for Girls State 2011, we are just eight days away from it. There are times I wonder why I keep going back and then there are day I am so glad to be able to keep going. My parents are taking the whole week off again to spend with Cort and Camille. Juan will take part fo the week off to help. So big thanks to them.
Pictures to come of Easter,Car Show with the Corvette, summer fun at nana's house, and more!! Stay Tuned!!

Cort Has Surgery
dad and him watching TV waiting for the doctors to come and get us
in his cute hospital gown, he did not want to put it on
His face shows the disgust for the good medicine

following the good medicine
following the good medicine
here is how we found him after the surgery
On Tuesday, we made the great voyage to the Dixie Regional Health and Performance Center and had a tonsillectomy for Cort. We knew after our fifth or sixth throat illness something needed to be done. He is home and doing really well, we all need some sleep due to the fact our sleep is in limits due to needing drinks and medicine about every four hours. We are also home bound due to a spike in strep throat our doctor has warned us about.
Our hope is he will gain some weight and get healthy!!
Juan and I had a great laugh after they gave him the medicine that make him sleep in about ten minutes, the nurses told us it would be the only time we thought it was funny for him to under the influence.

In Memory of Tharrel E. Caldwell
In Memory of Tharrel E. Caldwell
It has been almost a month and I finally feel like I can share this info with everyone. After Christmas we had to say good-bye to my grandpa. It has been hard to know he is no longer here with us, but it is what it is..
So I say goodbye this way and on the warm day this spring when we say our final goodbye, I will know you up there looking down and holding Camille, showing her how to drive a nail with one hit and how to fish without getting your line caught in the motor. Just promise me you will never try to teach her to drive, I will always remember that was the longest trip we ever made in the ford from Castle Dale to Ferron. And I will always remember it is okay to be tall, cause I do not have to stand on a cigarette bud to kiss a ducks ass... Take Care Old Man!!!
